Stephen E. Dubner is a graduate of Southern Methodist University School of Law. Before attending law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. Stephen also serves as on the Volunteer Services Council of the Denton State School. Mr. Dubner is also a licensed commercial pilot. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas and all Federal District Courts in Texas. He is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, Denton County Bar Association, and Texas Association of School Boards Council of School Attorneys.

Stephen is married to Ruth Dubner, who acts as the firm administrator. Ruth is a Special Education Counselor for the Lewisville Independent School District. Steve and Ruth have one son, Jake, who is three years old.
